Change Together
You deserve an approach that centers your whole family’s well being.
My Collaborative Divorce Coaching is designed to prepare and support you as you resolve family law issues. In a Collaborative team approach, we’ll create a separation and/or co-parenting strategy respectfully—without the need for court.
My Separation/Co-parenting counseling provides additional support alongside your lawyer/mediator for those using Mediation, Arbitration or Litigation. I provide support for an individual (or both partners in rare circumstances) when there is a desire to put the needs and interests of the entire family over self-interest that compromise the family’s well being.
My Goals

Help you stay focused
on the key aspects of the separation process while guiding you through uncertainty, discomfort & emotional pain
Ensure you feel heard empowering you to express your needs, care for yourself, set healthy boundaries & communicate effectively
Work alongside your lawyers
& any other specialists on your team, to provide you with a full wrap around service & reduce excess costs
What to Expect in the Collaborative Divorce Approach

Traditionally this work was completed by lawyers or was missed altogether. Missing this work often caused more hours to be billed by the lawyers. Everyone on the team (including collaborative lawyers) want to help lessen your billable hours. Mental health specialists are given and continue to receive highly specialized training to be able to do this work.
Typically mental health specialists charge between $225-$275/hour for this work. This work includes individual sessions and communication with yourself along with any communication with those on your team (lawyer, child specialist, financial advisors, etc)

You are welcome to make an appointment with me even if you are choosing another type of separation process including mediation, arbitration, court proceedings, etc. Although I won’t be able to provide all the collaborative services, I will still be able to provide good support for you in your journey. You are welcome to make an appointment with me even if you haven’t decided which separation process you will take.

I am here to support your individual process so it will look different for everyone. For some, you are ready for the 4 way meetings with your 2 lawyers and partner and just need a few sessions to prepare. For others, this has really blind sided you and you need more sessions to feel ready to be at that meeting. For those of you with children, I can potentially support you through your parenting plan. For some you may need to retouch base with me in the future to help through transitional times when the children grow older and new parenting plan options need to be looked at.

Separation and divorce can be a lot like a road trip. You may have had a clear destination in mind when you started, but now, the route has changed unexpectedly. You can try to navigate it alone, relying on outdated maps or instincts, but this might leave you lost or taking wrong turns.
Having an experienced passenger to guide you—someone who knows the road ahead—can help you avoid unnecessary detours, reduce stress, and make sure you reach your goal. Just like every road trip is different, every separation or divorce follows its own path. Some are relatively smooth highways, while others are winding backroads filled with potholes and unexpected turns. There will be moments when one person wants to speed ahead while the other wants to pull over and take a break. And there are times when emotions run hot—like wanting to slam on the brakes or even turn around completely. A guide can see clearly and keep your focus on the collective goal.
When kids are involved, it’s even more important to navigate carefully. They’re in the backseat, feeling every sharp twist and turn, relying on the adults in the front to guide them safely.
Rather than leaving your path to a judge, working with a supportive team can help you make intentional choices that suit your family’s unique journey. With the right support, you can build a new family dynamic that is balanced and healthy -one step at a time.

Taking the first step toward healing takes courage.
